Indoor rock climbing sessions are available for both primary and secondary age children during both weekends of the Festival. They are open to people of all abilities, from beginners to confident climbers.

The sessions will be run by Adventure Unlimited at the climbing wall in Stanley Deason Leisure Centre. Their fully qualified instructors will be leading and supervising all sessions.

There are many different sessions available throughout the two week period. Saturdays will initially be allocated to Primary age children and Sundays to Secondary age. The sessions are limited to those over eight years of age. Sessions run for two hours, and are limited to 16 people per session.

Sessions cost £4 per person

Sessions are available on Saturday 7th; Sunday 8th; Saturday 14th; Sunday 15th July

Session times: 9.00 - 11.00; 11.00 - 13.00; 13.00 - 15.00; 15.00 - 17.00

If you would like to take part in a rock climbing session, please download the forms below. Both the booking form AND the permission slip must be completed and returned, along with a cheque made payable to 'Dorothy Stringer School', which should be sent to Rowena Gerrett at Dorothy Stringer School, Loder Road, Brighton. BN1 6PZ.

Without permission from a parent or guardian, children under the age of 18 will not be allowed to climb.
